Collaboration: the best? Yes.

I love to collaborate. Being able to speak to another human being in the language of music is one of the most worthwhile endeavors I have ever found.

I consider myself beyond lucky - and I am so humbly grateful - to have work with such amazing people in the music business.

Armand Van Helden is cool as ice. He is disciplined and humble with an intense work ethic - but his soul is alight behind his eyes. Armand creates these sound landscapes with a reverent nod to the past classic decades... but from a futurist perspective that somehow brings our present in focus on the dance floor. He taught me a disciplined professionalism to be prepared and polished - on a deadline. I wrote "Hear My Name" over a weekend - the song was a late addition to the record.
